We are so excited about the turnout for our open house with BHughes Bridal, Ibiza Fine Gifts and Ohh La La on Wednesday night! It was a fun filled night with great friends, around 200 to be exact. We took so many pictures and cannot wait to load many of them up on the blog in the next few days. Here is a few from the beginning of the night…

Calling all Nashville brides and friends, we are SO excited to open our doors with our friend’s BHughes Bridal, Ibiza Fine Gifts and Ohh La La for a Holiday Open House tonight from 5:30 to 7:30. We have been working hard all week preparing the store for this fabulous event. Our awesome vendors have really turned this event into one to remember.We received some breathtaking photos from the McLellans of some past Nashville events. Chef’s Market’s delicious truffles arrived earlier this morning, after a quick taste test, we can attest that the live up to their hype. Nashville Event Lighting also stopped by and set the store up with some great lights inside and twinkle lights outside of all the stores. Maples Cakes made a gorgeous wedding cake for the event as well…can’t wait to try it!Ilex Flowers has made up some sample bouquet for all our Nashville brides to see their amazing designs. Fabu Event Decor just stopped by with awesome wrought iron candle holders! Rent-A-Rita should be by shortly with a tasty frozen pink concoction that is sure to be a great accompaniment to the appetizers. Speaking of appetizers, we are also awaiting the scrumptious hors d’ourves from Sargents Catering. To top off the night, Pat Patrick band is going to liven up the night with some great music. Thanks to Lamar and his staff at Just In Time (615-604-3203) for manning the bar and all the liquor from Mr.Whiskers. We are so excited we finally got to meet Ashley from Ashley’s Bride Guide who brought over some fabulous gift bags for all the brides that stop by tonight filled with some goodies. We will be gifting 10% off all bridal gowns until Thanksgiving for any brides that stop by tonight. So ladies call your friends and head over for a fun night!

Where has the week gone? We have been so busy at the store this past week, finishing up bridal market buys and preparing for our holiday party! We are excited to partner with our neighbors, B.Hughes Bridal, Ibiza Fine Gifts and Ohh La La for an evening filled with wedding vendors, Nashville brides and friends. We just received our invitations today and are THRILLED with them! Check them out…..

So it’s been a week or so since our last post but lots of exciting things have been going on with Signature Events and bHughes Bridal. New York was amazing, so many people to meet and beautiful dresses to see. My first night in the big city, I ate dinner with Oscar de la Renta Bridal Business Partners at the Charles restaurant in Soho. So delicious! Sunday, Allison from bHughes and I spent the day running around the city looking at bridal accessories  and bridesmaids dresses. We also managed to catch the Romona Keveza and Badgley Mischka runway shows. What a busy day! We wrapped up the evening with a dinner with one of our favorite rep’s Flora from Badgley Mischka at this great Greek restaurant called Avra Estiatorio. Monday was full of gorgeous wedding dresses. Our first stop was to……..wait for it…..Carolina Herrera! We are SO excited to announce our partnership with Carolina this upcoming spring. The dresses were even more beautiful in person.

We then dashed across town to catch up with Oscar de la Renta, Badgley Mischka and Vera Wang. It still amazes us that the looks you see on bridal runway are the dresses you see in the stores a few months later. We wrapped up the busy weekend with one of our favorite events, the Martha Stewart Weddings 15th Anniversary Party. We got to see so many great friends and take lots of pictures. Congrats to Martha Stewart and her entire team at Martha Stewart Weddings for the 15th Anniversary of the magazine. All of the brides in Nashville love the magazine and can’t wait to pick up every issue off the stands. Thrilled to be a part of the event celebrating the anniversary this week in New York City.

Kathryn and Trey are a fabulous couple. The two were married on August 8th and the reception was at the historic Union Station Hotel. We had such a great time helping this couple plan their wedding. We especially loved the University of Tennessee theme that ran throughout parts of the reception. McLellan Style did an unbelievable job of capturing all of the details!

Congratulations to Anna and Rob who were wed on Saturday, August 1st at West End United Methodist! The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Country Music Hall of Fame. We were so thrilled to be a part of this beautiful wedding and could not be happier for Anna and Rob. Below are some pictures from the wedding. Enjoy!
